Bethesda-based real estate firm Saul Centers filed a sketch plan application for its redevelopment of the building at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Hampden Lane in downtown Bethesda.
The project would entail replacing the existing office building at 7316 Wisconsin Avenue with a 250 foot-tall tower, delivering 390 residential units (15% MPDUs) and 11,000 square feet of commercial space. It would also enlarge the adjacent public plaza from 4,672 to 9,183 square feet by razing the two-story building at unit C-2 of 4800 Hampden Lane.
The proposal will be presented to the Bethesda Downtown Design Advisory Panel on Wednesday.
