Where: The Plateau at National Harbor, MD
What: Sample 60+ beers, 40+ bourbons, and lots of barbeque, all while enjoying seminars in the tasting theater and live music all day.

Maryland Vintage Jazz and Wine Festival

What: Live music and wine tastings from dozens of local vineyards!

Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle
When: June 23 & 24
Where: Pennsylvania Avenue between 3rd & 7th Streets, NW
What: Two days of culinary demonstrations, grilled meats, and cooking competitions, plus more than 30 bands performing throughout the weekend.

13th Annual DC Crabcake Competition
When: June 24
Where: 1356 Okie St, NE
What: A contest pitting eight of the area’s top chefs against one another in a crab cake showdown. Guests can sample each chef contestant’s crab cakes, as well as an oyster bow, clam chowder station, and other appetizers.
