This Saturday & Sunday, Bethesda Row will be transformed into an outdoor art gallery and live music venue for the 20th Annual Bethesda Row Arts Festival. The festival, which features 190 juried museum-quality artists, is widely recognized as one of the leading fine arts and crafts fairs in the mid-Atlantic.
On sale will be ceramics, drawings, fabrics, glass, graphics, jewelry, photography, pastels, printmaking, sculpture, wood and mixed media with art pieces ranging in price from $45 to $20,000. Art sale proceeds benefit NIH Children’s Charities, which include The Children’s Inn, Camp Fantastic/Special Love, and Friends of the Clinical Center. Local artists will perform acoustic music from a variety of genres on a stage set up at the intersection of Elm Street and Woodmont Avenue. Featured musicians include Justic Trawick, Julie Mack, Colonel Josh, Wytold, and the 19th Street Band.
