Anthropologie is set to make its Bethesda debut this Thursday, October 18, nearly one year after Barnes & Noble vacated its space at the corner of Woodmont & Bethesda Avenues.
The new, three-level Anthropologie store will feature apparel, wedding attire, garden supplies, wellness equipment, and a home design studio. The Terrain Café, a full-service restaurant led by Head Chef Kevin Ettenson and featuring local, farm-to-table cuisine, will also operate inside of Anthropologie.
The store occupies 24,000 square feet and is about triple the size of an average Anthropologie location and employees a staff of over 100. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Terrain Café will operate barista hours daily from 10 a.m. to close; brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; dinner beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
